Music is an integral part of every liturgical celebration at St. Raymonds.We are always looking for talented vocalists and instrumentalists of all ages. Each Mass has a unique character and speaks to people with varying tastes in music, from very traditional to contemporary Christian.  5 pm Saturday – Cantor Led  7 am Sunday –Cantor Led  9 am- Traditional Adult Choir. Contact Jose De Jesus Soto 323-404-0890. Rehearsals are held every Thursday at 7 pm in the St. Patrick’s Room. 11 am & 5:30pm Contemporary Choir (with the School Choir singing once a month during the school year,  usually the first Sunday of the month.) Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish and school. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets.

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week. Each group volunteers about once a week.

The PPC is involved in most activities and programs effecting the liturgical and spiritual life of St. Raymond Parish.

Men and women who assist at Mass or Funeral masses to enhance the worship of our faith community.

Held Friday evenings at 6:30PM in the Chapel during Lent.

Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the collection.

All men are welcome! Meetings are held every other Saturday morning from 7:30am - 8:50am. Join us for coffee, a light breakfast, socialization, and engaging (no pressure) conversation about our faith in a relaxed environment. Questions? Please email the coordinator for future dates.

Join us Monday nights at 7 pm in the Church to read and reflect upon the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel, Liturgy of the Hours and prayer (intercessory, and alternating Rosary or Divine Mercy). 

 It is a privilege to serve at the Altar of our God.  Servers have a responsibility to serve with dignity and reverence.The primary role of the altar server is to assist and support priests in the celebration of the liturgy during Mass. This is done through the servers' prayerful presence, specific actions and active participation in the liturgy (hymns, responses, etc.) setting an example to the congregation.  They also commit to serving at several different mass times across the weekend Liturgies.Coordinator: Kathi Bode   Phone: 562-923-3142

Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Please call Sandy Gallegos in the Rectory at 562-923-4509 Ext. 1103.

Sacristans work in the sacristy to set up for Mass, which includes putting out the sacred vessels, organizing the liturgical books, and seeing to the proper amount of bread and wine is set out for the liturgy. After the Mass, they make sure the sacristy is cleaned up and in good order. Each daily, Saturday and Sunday Mass at St. Raymonds is assigned a sacristan, along with the funeral masses.
